FROM APPLICATION TO WRISTBAND
Seven steps, in order. What we ask for, what happens after you apply, and how a HouseMatez night actually runs.
THE SEQUENCE
Every member goes through the same seven steps.
Apply Privately
Tell us who you are — single or couple, 21+, where you're based.
Applications are reviewed privately by our team. Nothing is public, and there is no member directory.
Get Approved
Our review team looks at every application individually.
You'll hear back by email either way. Approval is about the room, not a score on you.
Create Your Member Account
Approved applicants get a link to set up their HouseMatez account.
That account is how you see events, RSVP, buy tickets and talk to the team.
Receive Event Drops
Events are announced to members as drops — format, city, vibe, dress code and what the night is.
Different events have different rules and expectations. We tell you before you commit.
Purchase the Right Ticket
Each drop has its own ticket types: couple, single, table, cabana or guestlist.
Ticket types are released in limited numbers, and popular ones go fast.
Complete Event Requirements
Some events ask for a confirmation, an ID check, a house-rules acknowledgement or a dress code.
Exact locations for private events are released to confirmed ticket holders shortly before the night.
Check In & Get Your Wristband
ID at the door, name on the list, wristband on your wrist.
Then the night is yours to take at your own pace.
21+ only · Consent required · Privacy respected · Boundaries matter
WHY THE GUEST LIST IS CURATED
HouseMatez isn’t about selling as many tickets as possible. The guest list is part of the experience.
We want a room full of social, open-minded people who are respectful, well-groomed, fun to be around and capable of reading the room. Effort matters. Energy matters. Manners matter.
You won’t be attracted to everybody. Nobody can promise that.
But we care deeply about creating a crowd where you walk in and think:
“Oh shit. These are our people.”
HOW WE MANAGE THE BALANCE
HouseMatez actively manages the balance of its own guest list. We track how many couples, single women and single men are approved for each event and we release ticket types accordingly, so the room feels balanced rather than lopsided.
In practice that means single-male availability is tied to the rest of the guest list, and those spots usually sell out before other ticket types. It isn’t a knock on single guys — the men who come to our parties are a huge part of why the room works. It’s just how we protect the energy so everybody feels comfortable enough to enjoy the night.
Guest lists are managed, not guaranteed. Every event is a live room with real people, and we adjust as it fills. At partner venues, the wider crowd is the venue’s crowd — we manage the HouseMatez group inside it.
Apply early, and when a drop lands, don’t sit on it.
WRISTBANDS
Pink
Arrived as a couple.
Blue
Arrived single.
Everyone wears a wristband at a HouseMatez-produced event. No exceptions.
A wristband only communicates how somebody arrived. It never communicates consent, availability, attraction, interest, play style, orientation or anybody’s relationship agreements. There is no colour that means yes.
If you want to know any of that, talk to them and ask. Wristbands also make it easy for our team and security to confirm that everybody inside belongs there.
THE WRISTBAND GIVES YOU CONTEXT. CONVERSATION GIVES YOU THE REST.
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Applications are reviewed privately by our team, photos are used for verification, and there is no public member directory. Your night is nobody else’s business.
HouseMatez Originals — events we produce ourselves — are staffed by HouseMatez team and HouseMatez security. They’re approachable, they mostly stay in the background, and they’re there so you don’t have to think about them.
Partner venues — nightclubs, dayclubs and third-party ACCESS experiences — operate under their own security, staff, entry policies, dress codes and house rules. Our hosts are there with the group, but the venue runs the venue, and their decisions on entry and conduct are final.
Either way: if something feels wrong, find a HouseMatez host, a staff member or security. We’d much rather hear about it than not.
Couples, partners and select singles.
21+ only.
